The Feel Good Experience

Steve Line, PT,OCS,ATC is President/CEO of Columbus Physical Therapy, P.C. He founded the company in 1999, leasing office space in a strip mall in Columbus, Nebraska. Since that time, he has led company expansion to multiple locations across Nebraska, boasting greater than 14x growth and greater than $5M valuation in an underpopulated yet highly competitive rural area. His clinics have won the coveted "Best Physical Therapist Practice Award" 12 of the last 15 years in the communities they serve.

Before starting CPT, Steve worked as a physical therapist for a practice that highlighted the importance of production volume, expansion and customer service. Prior to working as a PT, he attended UNMC PT program in Omaha, NE and UNL for undergraduate studies.

Throughout high school and college years, Steve worked at various customer service - oriented part time occupations to help pay for schooling. It was throughout those formative years of dealing directly with the consumer in grocery and bartending that developed his intuition for "anticipating consumer needs" and eventually developed a proprietary customer service model, "The Feel Good Experience" that is used primarily in all of the company clinics.

Although, a physical therapist by training, Steve identifies and operates with the mindset of an entrepreneur, a leader, teacher and a writer. He has published several articles on topics of marketing, strategy, finance and personal wealth management with Impact magazine, a publication of the Private Practice Section of the American Physical Therapy Association.

In 2021, he completed a lifelong dream by publishing a customer service book entitled, "The Feel Good Experience: Grow Your Physical Therapy Practice With Five-Star Customer Service."

Steve is very diverse in his interests in life. Not only is he an award–winning entrepreneur, business leader, healthcare professional, business coach and author but also, is passionate about being outdoors. He spends thousands of hours annually hunting, fishing, hiking, farming wildlife conservation fields, harvesting timber and working on his many properties he owns in Kansas and Nebraska.

While indoors, he enjoys reading, watching historical documentaries and talking about anything related to business, investments, real estate, agriculture, wildlife conservation or property management.

Steve is also a family man. He and his wife of 21 years, Kristine, have 2 high school aged sons; Evan and Derek, and twin daughters in middle school.

Steve is available for questions and consultations regarding business coaching and operations. He can be reached at cptsl@columbusphysicaltherapy.com.
