Physical Therapy Assistants

Becky Krause, PTA

Becky Krause, PTA - Humphrey, NE - Columbus, NE“I have always been physically active and intrigued by the sciences. This field combines the best of both. After personally going through physical therapy and seeing a loved one go through it, I saw the life-changing effects physical therapy has. I can work with many people of all different ages and functional levels. When I help a person go from hating to walk because of pain to walking a couple of times each day because they no longer have pain, I feel good. Simple things like that can change a person completely. Every day is a new beginning for someone, and if I can help them get to living life again, that is the best feeling.

“I am a soft-hearted and caring person in general. I talk to patients so they will understand the goals we are trying to achieve and the reasons why we are doing things to get to their goals. I always remember that the patient and what they are feeling is more important than anything else that day, and I keep my attention and attitude with the patient. I try to give my patients the relief they want in an atmosphere that is kind, caring and hard-working. Patients deserve the feel good experience and good results.”

Ashley Korth, PTA

Ashley Korth, PTA - Humphrey, NE - Columbus, NE“I was born and raised in Columbus, NE and went to high school at Scotus Central Catholic.

“In high school, I shadowed at a couple different therapy clinics. After seeing many patients get back to a pain free life, I knew that a career in physical therapy was for me!

“I went to Southeast Community College in Lincoln, NE for two years before transferring to Northeast Community College where I recieved my PTA degree in August, 2012.

“My favorite thing about working in the physical therapy field is the patient interaction and building that trusting relationship with them. Each day brings new challenges and each day I get to meet and work with new people. When someone comes in complaining of non-stop headaches or back pain and you can get them back to feeling how they did before the pain, it is a wonderful feeling.”
