COLUMBUS - COLUMBUS — Steve Line, physical therapist at Columbus Physical Therapy, P.C., attended the Second Annual Sanford Sports Medicine and Orthopedics Symposium in Sioux Falls, SD on May 9-10, 2008.
The course consisted of evaluation and treatment strategies for knee, shoulder, elbow, hand and wrist complications. It covered diagnoses such as rotator cuff disorders, SLAP lesions, patellofemoral dysfunction, ACL deficiencies, fractures and tendon trauma management in hand and wrist patients and the management of pediatric orthopedic conditions such as growth plate fractures and elbow and knee disorders.
The symposium was facilitated by leading orthopedic surgeons from the James Andrews Sports Medicine and Orthopedic Center in Birmingham, Alabama, Taos Orthopedic Institute in Taos, New Mexico and leading physical therapists from Birmingham, Alabama and the University of Southern California.
Line is a practicing physical therapist and partner in Columbus Physical Therapy, P.C. He holds an Orthopedic Clinical Specialty in Physical Therapy and is a certified athletic trainer. He has practiced in Columbus for 10 years.
